Building permit fees are calculated based on project valuation. A plan review is performed to determine the square footage of livable space, garage size, patio, electrical, plumbing, etc. Then, the cost for each item is determined using the valuation fee schedule. Per our Town Code, our fees are based on Yavapai County’s Valuation and Fee Schedule. If you have questions on how much your fees will be, you are welcome to contact our building official (928-632-7362) with details of your project and they can discuss probable fees with you.
