The Town of Dewey-Humboldt has approximately 50 miles of maintained roads in the incorporated area. Approximately 38 miles of which are paved and 12 miles are improved native surface (dirt roads). The Public Works Department maintains all phases of right of way maintenance and repairs, including asphalt patching, grading, drainage work, sign replacement, mowing and weed abatement, etc. The continued maintenance and improvement of these roads will be an ongoing challenge which we will pursue aggressively.
As provided in Title 9 of the Arizona Revised Statutes: in order to conserve and promote the public health, safety, convenience and general welfare, by guiding and accomplishing a coordinated and harmonious town development for future growth.
