OFFICIAL 2018 PRIMARY ELECTION RESULTS

There were 2618 registered voters with 1213 ballots cast which represents 46.33% of the total voter turnout at the 2018 Primary Candidate Election held on August 28, 2018.




The official results are as follows:

Town of Dewey-Humboldt Mayor: 2-year Term

Nolan, Terry                          625                 55.51%

Wendt, Victoria J.                 496                 44.05%

Write-in                                    5                    0.44%

Town of Dewey-Humboldt Council Member: 4-year Term

Brooks, Karen                      659                 24.66%

Collins, Lynn                        504                 18.86%

McBrady, Mark                     526                 19.69%

Treadway, Doug                   493                 18.45%

Wright, Nancy                      476                 17.81%

Write-in                                  14                    0.52%

Mayoral Incumbent Terry Nolan received the majority of votes, as well as Town Council Candidates Karen Brooks, Lynn Collins and Town Council Incumbent Mark McBrady. Pursuant to Town Ordinance §30.046, as all the above candidates received a majority of the votes cast, they are declared elected to the office for which they were a candidate and no further election shall be held.
