About Dewey-Humboldt
Dewey-Humboldt is located in the high desert of Northern Arizona and is 85 miles north of Phoenix and 12 miles east of Prescott. At an elevation of 4,556 feet, town residents enjoy a mild 4-season climate which includes an occasional snowfall during the winter months.

Firewise Program
Help your neighborhood become "FIREWISE". Fire is a recognizable danger our community faces every day. The Town of Dewey-Humboldt is cooperating with the Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority (CAFMA) and Prescott Area Wildland Urban Interface Commission (PAWUIC) in achieving FIREWISE certification for the Town, starting with two neighborhoods (NorthEast Foothills and Blue Hills).

Iron King Mine & Humboldt Smelter
The Iron King Mine - Humboldt Smelter site is located in Dewy Humboldt, Arizona. The former mine and smelter are being investigated to determine the best solution for the large tailings pile and environmental impacts caused by the site.
